ARCHAEOLOGY

We conduct surveys and excavations to record the remains of standing and collapsed buildings, walls, trackways, piers, and freshwater sources that provided the context for islanders’ everyday lives on Inishbofin, Inishark, and Inishturk. Most of our research has focused on the remains of Bronze Age, Medieval, and Post-medieval communities on Inishark and Inishturk.
